Berry Fined for hit

Betrand Berry was fined by the NFL for the helmet to helmet hit
on Rodgers even thought the officials never threw a flag. The 15
yarder that should have been called may have made a difference,
we will never know.
The "head of officials", defended the no call on the face mask, a
couple of plays after the helmet to helmet hit.

McCarthy won't blame officiating

"We need to learn from the experience. That's the difference between winning and losing in the playoffs. . . .  We're never going to count on the officials to win a football game."

You can't count on them to win the game but we can sure count on them to cost us one.

How big of a fine did the official that blew the call get?

I certainly respect Coach McCarthy's attitude with his comment, but I respect the quote above even more. The bottom line is that had the game been called correctly, the Packers would not have lost this game the way they did. In fact, they might not have lost it at all.

I'm okay with how it all came out, because, if for no other reason, I can't change it. But a new year is coming, and I am excited about the prospects. I just wish it had ended (even with a loss) on a fair play.

I'm okay with it because the Saints would have humiliated our defense even worse than the Cards did. No need to have the youngsters completely demoralized. We aren't as good as any of the 4 teams left. It is just that simple. Any one of them would beat Green Bay this year.
